The foundation of the tandem press line at LSP consists of six hydraulic presses, two 2500 tons and four 1250 tons. With a destacker capable of continuous operation during material change, blank washing and re-oiling, an optical centering station, a table size of 180 x 100 inches, robot automation from nine KUKA Robots with new transpressor technology, automatic die and gripper changes and three exit conveyors, the line is capable of running Class-A steel and aluminum parts in multiple production modes. LSP, Kuka and Schuler Automation combined to create a state-of-the-art press line which set new standards for the stamping industry.

LSP implemented technology from the world´s leading companies in the formation of its assembly department. With Laepple designed assembly cells containing an Erlas laser brazing machine, KUKA robotics, spot and PED welding machines, UV Hardening and sealant ovens, LSP is capable of meeting our customer´s highest assembly demands.
